MANDOU NOS CONVIDAR
DELIGHT
- Antônio Gomes
Mandou nos convidar
O Mestre que nos ensina
Para o dia natalício
Do filho da Mãe divina
Tornou a nos reunir
No dia dos Santos reis
Desde o dia primeiro
Do ano quarenta e seis
Jesus Cristo redentor
E a sempre Virgem Maria
Eles rogam ao Pai Divino
De ver tanta alegria
Esta verdade é divina
Ela é doce como mel
Continuando sempre assim
Nós tamos todos no céu
Estes grandes festejos
É dos três reis do oriente
Estou alegre e satisfeito
De ver meu chefe contente
Ele faz outro convite
Para todos seus irmãos
Conseguindo esta harmonia
Para o dia de São João
He had us invited
The Master who teaches us
To the birthday
Of the Son of the Divine Mother
Once again He brought us together
On the day of the Holy Kings
Since the first day
Of the year 1946
Jesus Christ the Redeemer
And the Ever Virgin Mary
They pray to the Divine Father
In seeing so much joy
This Truth is Divine
It is sweet like honey
Continuing always this way
All of us are in Heaven
These great festivities
Are of the Three Kings of the Orient
I am joyful and content
In seeing my leader happy
He makes another invitation
To all his brothers and his sisters
To attain this harmony
For the day of Saint John
refrain, sung twicerefrain, sung three or more times
