FLOR DE JESUS

Florzinha de Jesus

Ela veio nos trazer luz

Valentina minha flor

Do jardim do beija-flor

A pureza da criança

Me renova a esperança

Me alegra o coração

E faz lembrar meu São João

São João era menino

E vivia nas campinas

Pastorando suas ovelhas

E pregando as santas doutrinas

A pureza de Jesus

É quem traz a salvação

A pureza de São João

É quem traz o meu perdão

Eu peço a Virgem mãe

A pureza das crianças

Alegria e amor

Para alcançar o meu valor

Tu sois filha das águas

Valentina meu amor

Agradeço ao pai eterno

Me entregar este primor

Eu estava a esperar

De repente você chegou

Me trazendo vida nova

Me enchendo de amor

Agradeço ao meu Jesus

Agradeço a São João

Agradeço a São José

E ao senhor Rei Salomão

Little flower of Jesus

She came to bring us light

Valentina, my flower

From the garden of the hummingbird

The purity of the child

Renews my hope

Gladdens my heart

And brings to mind my Saint John

Saint John was a boy

And lived in the meadows

Shepherding his sheep

And preaching the holy doctrines

The purity of Jesus

Is what brings salvation

The purity of Saint John

Is what brings my pardon

I ask the Virgin Mother

For the purity of children

Joy and love

To attain my worth

You are a daughter of the waters

Valentina, my love

I give thanks to the eternal Father

For delivering me this treasure

I was waiting

Suddenly you arrived

Bringing me new life

Filling me with love

I give thanks to my Jesus

I give thanks to Saint John

I give thanks to Saint Joseph

And to the lord King Solomon
