Eu vim foi para cantar

Com amor e alegria

Eu vim foi testemunhar

Com prazer e alegria

Meu mestre manda eu cantar

O cantar dos passarinhos

Foi quem veio anunciar

Anunciar a boa nova

Que Deus tem para nos dar

O que for obediente

Muito terá que ganhar

No meu céu de São João

Mais uma estrela a brilhar

A semente que brotou

Ela vai multiplicar

Quem tem a flor no coração

Faz a semente multiplicar

Ele tem a santa paz

E vive com Deus a louvar

O vento é que me leva

O poder me determina

Canto aqui, eu canto lá

O valor desta doutrina

Agradeço a São João

E ao meu rei Salomão

Esta prenda de valor

The singing of the little birds

Was the one that came to announce

That God has to give us

Whoever is obedient
