JESUS É MEU PADRINHO

Jesus Cristo é meu Padrinho

A nossa Mãe de bondade

Me livre e me defenda

De toda falsidade

Eu pedi a Virgem Mãe

Para vós me ajudar

Me livrai-me e defendei-me

Não me deixe derribar

Eu pedi a Jesus Cristo

E a meu Senhor São João

Me livre e me defenda

De toda ilusão

Tudo está estremecendo

E este mundo é um terror

Valei-me meu Jesus Cristo

Nosso mestre ensinador

Jesus Christ is my Padrinho

Our Mother of goodness

Free me and defend me

From all falsehood

I asked the Virgin Mother

To help me

Free me and defend me

Do not let me be cast down

I asked Jesus Christ

And my Lord São João

Free me and defend me

From all illusion

Everything is trembling

And this world is a terror

Help me my Jesus Christ
