Compreendendo as nobres Verdades

Vou esclarecendo o meu viver

Libertando a mente pra alcançar

E ver o mundo exatamente como é

Olhando a verdade, o sofrimento

Fruto de uma insatisfação

Entendendo a causa dele estar

E otimista com o futuro que virá

Vou examinando o pensamento

Vendo o poder que nele está

A palavra justa vou dizendo

Também sabendo a hora certa de calar

Peço para mim a ação justa

Para eu saber me comportar

Me sustento e vou sustentar

E vou plantando o que quero semear

Nesta vida vou me descobrindo

Vivendo a cada amanhecer

Viajando dentro do “Meu ser”

Eu me liberto da ação que faz sofrer

Buda, Grande Mestre do Oriente

Na via do meio quero andar

Eu liberto agora o que “Eu Sou”

Senhor Gautama, o Nirvana quero achar

Understanding the noble Truths

I go on clarifying my living

Freeing the mind to attain

And see the world exactly as it is

Looking at the truth, the suffering

Fruit of a dissatisfaction

Understanding the cause of its being

And optimistic about the future to come

I go on examining the thought

Seeing the power that is in it

The right word I go on speaking

Also knowing the right time to be silent

I ask for myself the right action

So I may know how to conduct myself

I sustain myself and I will sustain

And I go on planting what I want to sow

In this life I go on discovering myself

Living each dawn

Journeying within “My being”

I free myself from the action that causes suffering

Buddha, Great Mestre of the Orient

On the middle way I wish to walk

I now free what “I Am”

Lord Gautama, the Nirvana I wish to find
