EU TROUXE A MINHA VIDA
I BROUGHT MY LIFE
Eu trouxe a minha viola
Para cantar este hino
Trazendo as boas novas
Dos ensinos do padrinho
Aqui não vou citar nomes
Muito melhor é dizer
Que este ensino é para todos
Que quiserem aprender
Ninguém queira ser grande
Porque grande só meu pai
Ele sim quem tem poder
Ninguém queira duvidar
A verdade é muito simples
Todos nós somos iguais
Mas também é verdade
Que somos especiais
Cada um tem o seu cadinho
Mas também tem seu valor
De tudo tem um pouquinho
Veja assim como eu sou
Meus irmãos, minhas irmãs
Vamos olhar para dentro
E procura com cuidado
Onde é que está doendo
Vou seguindo o meu caminho
Vou cantar noutro lugar
Levando estes ensinos
Para todos escutar
I brought my viola
To sing this hymn
Bringing the good tidings
Of the teachings of the Padrinho
Here I will not name names
Far better it is to say
That this teaching is for all
Who wish to learn
Let no one wish to be great
For great is only my Father
He indeed is the one with power
Let no one wish to doubt
The truth is very simple
We are all equal
But it is also true
That we are special
Each one has his little bit
But also has his worth
Of everything there is a little
See, just as I am
My brothers, my sisters
Let us look within
And search with care
For where it is hurting
I go on following my path
I will sing in another place
Carrying these teachings
For all to listen
refrain, sung twicerefrain, sung three or more times
Hymn 35 of 81.
