MINHA MÃE QUERIDA

Minha Mãe querida, Vóis sois a Rainha

Que me ilumina para eu caminhar

Vou seguindo firme, vou com alegria

Tenho a Rainha para me guiar

É Mamãe terra, Mãezinha das águas

Que amansa as feras para doutrinar

Todo se curvem perante a Rainha

Quem tiver pergunta pode perguntar

A Vós eu peço que me esclareça

Porque a matéria tem de se acabar

Mamãe me disse que a matéria é eterna

Só muda na forma para variar.

Eu sou a Mãe e sou a natureza

Eu sou a matéria de tudo que há

E Deus é tudo no céu e na terra

Cada coisa volta para o seu lugar

My beloved Mother, You are the Queen

Who illumines me so that I may walk

I go on firm, I go with joy

I have the Queen to guide me

She is Mamãe earth, dear Mother of the waters

Who tames the beasts to instruct them

Let all bow before the Queen

Whoever has a question may ask

Of You I ask that You enlighten me

Why must matter come to an end

Mamãe told me that matter is eternal

It only changes in form, for variety

I am the Mother and I am nature

I am the matter of all that exists

And God is everything in heaven and on earth

Each thing returns to its place
