MARIA MADALENA

Cheguei neste jardim

Ouçam os pássaros a cantar

De Jesus, Maria Madalena

Divinamente neste altar

Nos caminhos que o Cristo trilhou

Aprendi o sentido do amor

Meu Mestre me acolheu

Redimiu e me regenerou

Sou rosa e tenho espinhos

Sou tocha na escuridão

Sou Maria Madalena

Desabrochando no seu coração

I arrived in this garden

Hear the birds singing

Of Jesus, Mary Magdalene

Divinely at this altar

On the paths that Christ trod

I learned the meaning of love

My Mestre welcomed me

Redeemed and regenerated me

I am a rose and I have thorns

I am a torch in the darkness

I am Mary Magdalene

Blossoming in his heart
