A ESTRELA VAI CHEGAR

A estrela vai chegar

Vamos todos se firmar

Na noite de São João

Vamos ver quem vai ficar

Tudo vai estremecer

Tudo vai balançar

Meu Senhor São João Batista

Ele vem justificar

Vamos todos meus irmãos

Vamos seguir com alegria

Agradecendo o nosso Mestre

E a Sempre Virgem Maria

The star will arrive

Let us all stand firm

On the night of Saint John

Let us see who will remain

Everything will tremble

Everything will sway

My Lord Saint John the Baptist

He comes to make things right

Let us all, my brothers

Let us go on with joy

Giving thanks to our Master

And to the Ever-Virgin Mary
