An Affirmation Prayer
Rather than asking for something not yet possessed, the prayer is phrased as a series of affirmations: participants declare themselves already at peace with the universe and unite their intentions around four qualities — harmony, love, truth, and justice. This affirmative style is characteristic of a wider set of consecration prayers used alongside it in Santo Daime works, including Asas Divinas and the Consagração do Apresento.
A Bond of Fraternity
The prayer describes the united, silent vibrations of the minds present as forming a link of universal fraternity, expressing a belief that shared inner intention strengthens the bond among a group of worshippers. It closes with a note of thanks to what it calls the invisible Father for having established these four qualities among all beings.
