I. LIGHT

God, how good it is to be with You

To sail upon this love

To cultivate this flower

To live in this sweetness

God, the fortress of the Sun

Blue of the vast immensity

I always want to be

In the clarity of peace

God, before this power

I can declare

That love, like You

Is and will always be

God, I always want to know

That the true life

Can already be lived

Even in the midst of this war

It lives, within the protection

Of all that will go on

Which is the pure beauty

Of the eternal love

It lives where the stars live

Where the light shines

Of our good Jesus

And of the Virgin Mary
