EDUCAÇÃO

Falar bem pouco

Com respeito e educação

Não aborrecer o irmão

E nem achar que isso é direito

Pois na verdade

Se muitos foram chamados

Poucos serão escolhidos

É melhor ter humildade

E nos trabalhos

Chegar bem devagarinho

Pisando bem de mansinho

Em sintonia com a corrente

É para todos

A educação espírita

Para quem usa o ouvido

Coração e consciência

Mas ao contrário

Acham que sabem de tudo

Ensinam a todo mundo

E na vida não dão exemplo

E dessa vida

Vivem sempre reclamando

O mal vão noticiando

Espalhando o desamor

É no exemplo

Que se mostra a Doutrina

A vida desenrolada

A casa bem arrumada

Pra receber

Praticar a caridade

Ter o que apresentar

Com afeto e todo amor

To speak very little

With respect and good manners

Not to vex one’s brother

Nor to think that this is one’s right

For in truth

If many were called

Few will be chosen

It is better to have humility

And in the works

To arrive very slowly

Treading very gently

In tune with the current

It is for all

The spiritual education

For whoever uses their ear

Heart and conscience

But on the contrary

They think they know everything

They teach everyone

And in life they set no example

And of this life

They live always complaining

They go announcing evil

Spreading lovelessness

It is by example

That the Doctrine is shown

Life set in order

The house well arranged

To receive

To practice charity

To have something to offer

With affection and all love
