Mamãe Terra

Ela trata bem seus filhos

Mas os filhos não ligam importância

Dá o alimento, dá as curas, dá a força

E tanta beleza para se apreciar

Aprecie tudo o que Ela oferece

E a nós entrega com todo Vosso amor

Respire fundo e preste mais atenção

Veja o que você joga pelo chão

Muitos se dizem filhos da floresta

Mas bem poucos a ela têm amor

Até lixo lhe atiram sem respeito

Porque não ouvem

O canto do beija-flor

Pra merecer esta morada é preciso

Ter respeito e viver em harmonia

Educação, humildade, gratidão

Porque tudo é sagrado, meu irmão

Lá no Céu, o Sol a Lua e as estrelas

É Deus em tudo e em todo lugar

Deus no vento, Deus na Terra

Deus no mar

Pra todos nós, louvar e respeitar

Mother Earth

She treats her children well

But the children pay no heed

She gives nourishment, gives healing, gives strength

And so much beauty to be appreciated

Appreciate all that She offers

And to us delivers with all Your love

Breathe deeply and pay more attention

See what you throw upon the ground

Many call themselves children of the forest

But very few hold love for her

They even hurl trash at her without respect

Because they do not hear

The song of the hummingbird

To deserve this dwelling, one must

Have respect and live in harmony

Education, humility, gratitude

Because everything is sacred, my brother

There in the Sky, the Sun, the Moon and the stars

It is God in everything and everywhere

God in the wind, God in the Earth

God in the sea

For all of us to praise and respect
