At the dawn of day

Of Saint Peter celebrated

Firm in the Waning Moon

To put an end to sin

Sin is death

And death is fear

Only the light of knowledge

Is what unravels the secret

For whoever trusts in me

And does not give in to error

Has life instead of death

Has the True Christ

I am the resplendent light

I am the shine of the Cruzeiro

I am the wisdom of John

And I am the key of Saint Peter

I am the discernment

All brilliance comes from me

Remembrance of the star Sun

That shines in this garden
