BEIJA-FLOR

Beija-flor está sedento

Está com sede de amor

Beija-flor está trazendo

Um canto superior

Este canto é a floresta

Este canto é a luz do dia

Este canto é esta festa

Ritual da alegria

Vou seguindo e vou cantando

Com amor no coração

Sempre eu peço ao meu padrinho

Que me dê sua benção

Vou seguindo e vou cantando

Com amor no coração

Sempre eu peço a virgem mãe

Que nos dê a proteção

E agora eu vou embora

Eu deixo aqui o meu recado

Nosso pai e nossa mãe

Sempre estão ao nosso lado

The hummingbird is thirsty

It thirsts for love

The hummingbird is bringing

A higher song

This song is the forest

This song is the light of day

This song is this celebration

Ritual of joy

I go following and I go singing

With love in the heart

Always I ask my Padrinho

To give me his blessing

I go following and I go singing

With love in the heart

Always I ask the Virgin Mother

To give us protection

And now I am going away

I leave here my message

Our Father and our Mother

Are always at our side
