RAMINHOS VERDES
LITTLE GREEN BRANCHES
- Rita Gregório de Melo
Eu recebi, eu recebi
Do meu pai o seu poder
Para firmar bem os meus passos
E neste mundo eu saber viver
A Virgem da Conceição
Ela é minha defensora
Me defende dos terrores
E ilumina a minha pessoa
Da terra brota o cipó
Que é a escada do astral
Segurando os raminhos verdes
Eu vou subindo os degraus
Do Sol nos chega a luz
Que resplandece no salão
É preciso muita calma
Para entender a miração
Tudo é discernimento
Confirmado no Jordão
São João está presente
No Padrinho Sebastião
I received, I received
From my Father His Power
To affirm my steps well
And in this world For me to know how to live
The Virgin of Conception
She is my defender
She defends me from the terrors
And illuminates my self
From the earth sprouts the vine
That is the ladder of the astral
Holding the little green branches
I go climbing up the stairs
From the Sun comes the Light to us
That shines in the salão
Much calmness is needed
To understand the miração
Discernment is everything
Confirmed in the Jordan
St. John is present
In Padrinho Sebastião
refrain, sung twicerefrain, sung three or more times
