THIS WORK OF ILLUMINATION

I give thanks for this work we do

Of illumination

I give thanks for this force of light

That transforms my life

I give thanks to all the beings

Of the phalanxes of Heaven

Viva! Santo Daime

And all of us who follow in this line

Here in this terreiro

There is much to be learned

Deep inside your heart

Inside the temple of flesh and bone

I give thanks for the love

Of the Divine Eternal Father

I arrive here very humble

So that I can be reborn
