DOCTRINE OF THE FOREST

May I give thanks for this Holy Path of Light

For this doctrine of the forest

This doctrine of the forest

That illuminates my life

Handed down to Mestre Irineu

In the jungle, deep

In the land of Brazil

In the jungle, deep in the land of Brazil

The birds chant in the trees

In the lofty canopies

The Sacred song of Planet Earth

And the rivers flow and the splendor only grows

With immense diversity, in perfect harmony

And so it goes that this globe turns perfectly

Day into night, night into day (day into night)

As we live out our destiny

Our destiny is the salvation of our souls

To raise up this flag and follow in this line

To follow in this line, it’s necessary to respect

The path of Jesus Christ

The path of Jesus Christ

Who went in front to show the way

The way in love unconditional

With a heart of charity

For your brothers and your sisters

When you come to find your brothers and your sister

That’s when you find God,

That’s when you find God

So said Padrinho Sebastião

How fortunate I am to be touch by these beings

Of this Sacred lineage

Viva o povo brasiliero!
