NASCIMENTO

Meu Pai a Vós eu peço

Livrai-me de todo mal

Firmai o meu pensamento

Para eu em Vós enxergar

Firma no sol e na lua

E na estrela do oriente

Para tu receber

De Jesus o seu nascimento

Minha Mãe a Vós eu peço

Dentro do meu coração

Para nós aqui cantar

Nesta noite de Natal

Para nós aqui cantar

Saber dar louvor a meu Pai

Dentro desta verdade

Do meu Mestre ensinador

My Father, of You I ask

Free me from all evil

Make firm my thoughts

So that I may behold You

Be firm in the sun and in the moon

And in the star of the Orient

So that you may receive

From Jesus His birth

My Mother, of You I ask

Within my heart

For us to sing here

On this night of Christmas

For us to sing here

To know how to give praise to my Father

Within this truth

Of my teaching Mestre
