MENINO SÃO JOÃO
BOY SAINT JOHN
- Thiago
Quando sopra o vento quente
Brilha o sol, dançam as folhas
O menino São João
Aparece na colina
Menino São João
Que é o Pastor das alminhas
Alegre os corações
Vem brincar com nosso espírito
Sopra o vento, cai o sol
Nas montanhas chega o frio
É o menino São João
Resplandecem Seus ensinos
Louvo a Deus por Sua graça
De existir esse menino
Trabalhando com as ovelhas
Abrindo o caminho
Pras montanhas da floresta
Pelas nuvens vem Seu brilho
Menino São João
Abençoe Seus meninos
When the hot wind blows
The Sun shines, the leaves dance
The young Saint John
Appears on the hill
Young Saint John
Who is the shepherd of little souls
Gladden the hearts
Come play with our Spirit
The wind blows, the Sun sets
In the mountains the cold arrives
It is the boy Saint John
His teachings shine
I praise God for His grace
That there exists this boy
Working with the sheep
Opening the path
To the mountains of the forest
Through the clouds comes Your brilliance
The boy Saint John
Bless Your little ones
