Se abro o meu coração

Para as promessas de Jesus

Sinto a doçura do céu

Chegando em mim como uma luz

E solto as teias da dureza

E me entrego a meu Pai

Fazendo do meu corpo o templo

Pra receber virtude e paz

Com firmeza e com ternura

Vigilante todos momentos

Cuidando do meu espírito

Em atos e pensamentos

Vigilante da palavra

Que quando boa rega o chão

Quando se fala de um irmão

Se escurece o coração

Vigilante do pensamento

Sempre fiel a Deus

Semeando a luz na mente

Pra não temer nada e ninguém

I feel the sweetness of Heaven

Arriving in me as a light

I let go of the webs of hardness

And I surrender to my Father

Making my body a temple

To receive virtue and peace

With firmness and with tenderness

Vigilant every moment

Taking care of my Spirit

In acts and thoughts

Vigilant with words

That when good, irrigate the ground

When one talks about a brother or sister

The heart darkens

Vigilant of thought

Always loyal to God

Seeding light in the mind

So that we don’t fear anything or anyone
