Quando a chuva cai

Por sobre a humanidade

São lágrimas de Mamãe Oxum

Purificando dentro de cada um

Cada qual que procure

De com ela se limpar

Para estar do jeito que Mamãe quer

Vou me lembrar do dilúvio de Noé

Vou corrigir meu pensamento

E alertar meu coração

Aproveitando a chuva que cai sobre a terra

Peço a Deus onipotente que acalme toda

guerra

Nesta guerra com a matéria

Com a miséria e a ignorância

Peço a minha mãe que leve pras ondas do mar

Toda maldade que queira nos derribar

Upon humanity

They are tears of Mamãe Oxum

Purifying within each one

Let each one seek

To cleanse himself with her

To be the way that Mamãe wants

I will remember the flood of Noah

I will correct my thought

And alert my heart

Making use of the rain that falls upon the earth

I ask omnipotent God to calm all

war

In this war with matter

With misery and ignorance

I ask my Mother to carry to the waves of the sea

All the evil that would cast us down
