NO MEU DESERTO UMA FORÇA

No deserto do meu pensamento

Esta força eu recebi

Para eu aqui cantar

Com amor e com alegria

São João é quem me manda

E Jesus Cristo é quem me dá

Esta força em meu peito

Para eu aqui cantar

Se firmando no rei Salomão

Toda amargura vai se acabar

Toda ciência da majestade

O amor vem atuar

Se prepare aparelho

Para a manifestação

No encontro do amor

De Jesus Cristo e São João

In the desert of my thought

This force I received

So that I may sing here

With love and with joy

Saint John is the one who sends me

And Jesus Christ is the one who gives me

This force in my breast

So that I may sing here

Making oneself firm in King Solomon

All bitterness will come to an end

All the science of the majesty

The love comes to act

Prepare yourself, instrument

For the manifestation

In the meeting of the love

Of Jesus Christ and Saint John
