A LUZ DA VERDADE

No início Deus deu a Jesus

Criar a terra com o poder da luz

O Mestre trabalhou

Com auxílio dos anjos a terra formou

Formou para nós habitar

A floresta, a montanha e o mar

Foi aí que Deus criou

O homem e a mulher que multiplicou

Criou todos nós para seguir

No caminho da vontade de Deus

Mas o homem se esqueceu

Negou a verdade e se escondeu

E Deus para lembrar como é

Mandou o dilúvio de Noé

E a terra repovoou

Com a caridade de Nosso Senhor

Moisés recebeu no Sinai

Mandamentos do Sagrado Pai

Mas o povo não acreditou

E o bezerro de ouro foi quem imperou

Surgiu uma voz no deserto

Batizava no Rio de Jordão

O maior dos nascidos de mulher

Abrindo o caminho chegou São João

Glória a Deus nas alturas

Paz na terra e boa vontade

Nasceu Jesus de Nazaré

Filho de Deus Pai, Maria e José

Chamou Pedro, Tiago e João

E os apóstolos do Seu coração

Provando que é Nosso Senhor

A verdade do amor Ele consagrou

Ele veio foi para ensinar

O caminho da vontade de Deus

Pregando o Sermão da Montanha

As bem aventuranças Ele prometeu

Mas o mundo não compreendeu

Não lembrou, nem se arrependeu

Prenderam o Nosso Mestre

E o crucificaram entre os Judeus

O Semeador partiu

Mas agora Ele vem pra colher

Separando o joio do trigo

A luz da verdade vai resplandecer

In the beginning God told Jesus

To create the earth with the power of light

The Master worked

With the help of the angels He made the earth

For us to dwell, He made

The forest, the mountain and the sea

It was there that God created

The man and the woman who multiplied

He created all of us to follow

The path of the will of God

But man forgot the path

Denied the truth and hid himself

And God to remind how it is

But now He comes to harvest

Separating the chaff from the wheat

The light of the truth is going to shine
