MENSAGENS DE AMOR E SABER
MESSAGES OF LOVE AND WISDOM
Dear brothers and sisters,
How unfortunate that everything that begins, must end.
That everything that is born, must die.
How sad that winter kills the flowers of every spring,
and that the splendor of dawn fades into the shadows of dusk.
How unfortunate that there is a goodbye for every meeting, and so much sorrow in each farewell.
How sad that the greater the happiness,
the more painful the longing afterward.
And that disappointment may lie on the other side of trust.
How unfortunate that there is an awakening for every dream, and a reality for every illusion.
But you must agree that the beauty of certain things,
the passion of certain emotions,
the preciousness of certain hours,
and the happiness of certain moments exist
Precisely because we are aware of the transience of life,
the awareness that everything that is born, must die.
Yet a book is a mute that speaks.
It is a deaf person who answers.
It is a blind one who guides.
It is a dead one who lives.
