EU ESTAVA ENVOLVIDA

Eu estava envolvida

Por uma força escura

Quando chegou uma estrela

Ela veio e me iluminou

Ponho meu joelho no chão

Graças a Deus eu dou

Dou santas graças a Deus

A esta estrela que me iluminou

Aqui eu estou pedindo

Aqui eu estou rogando

Aqui eu estou orando

Por esta estrela que me iluminou

Meus irmãos vamos ter paz

E vamos procurar o amor

Com esta Divina estrela

Que aqui me iluminou

I was enveloped

By a dark force

When a star arrived

She came and illuminated me

I set my knee to the ground

Thanks I give to God

I give holy thanks to God

To this star that illuminated me

Here I am asking

Here I am begging

Here I am praying

For this star that illuminated me

My brothers, let us have peace

And let us seek love

With this Divine star

That illuminated me here
