OS PASSARINHOS CANTOU

Lá vem o dia

O dia chegou

Lá vem o dia

O passarinho cantou

Eu sou criança

Eu sei amar

Foi Deus quem me deu

E é Deus quem me dá

Veja as cachoeiras

Força das águas

Peço a Mãe D’água

Para me ajudar

Saio nas Campinas

Colhendo as flores

Para enfeitar

O altar do amor

Peço a Jesus Cristo

Com todo amor

Para ajudar

A quem me ajudou

There comes the day

The day arrived

There comes the day

The little bird sang

I am a child

I know how to love

It was God who gave me

And it is God who gives to me

Behold the waterfalls

Force of the waters

I ask the Mother of Water

To help me

I go out in the meadows

Gathering the flowers

To adorn

The altar of love

I ask Jesus Christ

With all love

To help

whoever helped me
