NOITE DE NATAL

Oh! Que noite linda

Noite de Natal

Nosso Pai nos chama

Com amor no seu coração

Para tirar nossas casas

Da areia para a rocha

Que lá tem potência

De nos sustentar

Neste mundo eu já tive

Agora estou de novo

Nas mesmas amarguras

Aí meu Deus, ai meu Deus

São João vai na frente

Levando a bandeira

Trazendo a paz

Do Brasil estrangeiro

O sol ilumina

A terra e o mar

E a lua tem força

Pra nos segurar

Esta casa santa

De Juramidam

De receber o povo

Do Senhor São João

Fazendo os meus pedidos

Mesmo sem saber

Mas meu Mestre é fiel

Ele vem atender

Oh! What a lovely night

Christmas night

Our Father calls us

With love in His heart

To take our houses

From the sand to the rock

For there is the power

To sustain us

In this world I once had

Now I am again

In the same bitterness

Oh my God, oh my God

São João goes in front

Carrying the banner

Bringing the peace

From Brazil abroad

The sun illuminates

The earth and the sea

And the moon has strength

To hold us up

This holy house

Of Juramidam

To receive the people

Of the Lord São João

Making my requests

Even without knowing

But my Mestre is faithful

He comes to answer
