A meu Pai eu peço e rogo

Saúde para meu irmão

Vou pedindo e vou alcançando

Aqui dentro do rebanho

Este rebanho é um pouco humilde

É da Virgem da Conceição

Ele também pertence

A meu Senhor São João

São João é tão bonzinho

É tão bonzinho de coração

Só falta firmeza

E amor no meu irmão

Meu irmão está esmorecido

Sem força de trabalhar

Trabalha com firmeza

Que tu vai te levantar

Te levanta e segue em frente

E acompanha a São João

Que tu vai receber

De Jesus a Salvação

This flock is somewhat humble

To my Lord Saint John

Saint John is so very good

So very good of heart

All that is lacking is firmness

And love in my brother

My brother has grown faint

With no strength to work

Work with firmness

And you will rise up

Rise up and go forward

And follow after Saint John

For you will receive

From Jesus, salvation
