LUA NOVA

Lua nova foi ao crescente

Do crescente a lua cheia

No processo da minguante

Lua nova me presenteia

Recebi da lua nova

Bem na força do crescente

Lua cheia clareou

Tornou lindo este presente

Agradeço a lua nova

Por esta estrela a estrelar

Gravo no meu coração

Com certeza não vai faltar

No patamar desta história

Só é bonita se olhar

Lua cheia preenchida

Mas como é lindo o seu luar

New Moon became a crescent

From the crescent to a full Moon

In the process of waning

New Moon gives gifts to me

I received from the new Moon

Well in the force of the crescent

Full Moon clarifies

Made beautiful this gift

I thank the new Moon

For this Star to shine

I engrave in my heart

With certainty I will not falter

On the landing place of this story

So beautiful to look at

Full Moon filled

But how beautiful is your Moonlight
