Compreendendo as nobres verdades

Vou esclarecendo o meu viver

Libertando a mente pra alcançar

E ver o mundo exatamente como é

Olhando a verdade, o sofrimento

Fruto de uma insatisfação

Entendendo a causa dele estar

E otimista com o futuro que virá

Vou examinando o pensamento

Vendo o poder que nele está

A palavra justa vou dizendo

Também sabendo a hora certa de calar

Peço para mim a ação justa

Para eu saber me comportar

Me sustendo e vou sustentar

E vou plantando o que quero semear

Nesta vida vou me descobrindo

Vivendo a cada amanhecer

Viajando dentro do “Meu Ser”

Eu me liberto da ação que faz sofrer

Buda, Grande Mestre do Oriente

Na via do meio quero andar

Eu liberto agora o que “Eu Sou”

Senhor Gautama, o Nirvana quero achar

Understanding the noble truths

I keep clarifying my living

Freeing the mind to reach

And see the world exactly as it is

Looking at the truth, suffering

Fruit of a dissatisfaction

Understanding the cause of its being

And optimistic about the future to come

I keep examining the thought

Seeing the power that is in it

The just word I keep speaking

Also knowing the right time to be silent

I ask for myself the just action

So that I know how to behave

Sustaining myself and I will sustain

And I keep planting what I want to sow

In this life I keep discovering myself

Living each dawn

Journeying within “My Being”

I free myself from the action that causes suffering

Buddha, Great Master of the Orient

On the middle way I want to walk

I now free what “I Am”

Lord Gautama, the Nirvana I want to find
