PELA PAZ OU PELA GUERRA

Eu consagro o Santo Daime

Fonte de todo saber

Que me leva ao Pai Eterno

Dono de todo Poder

Quem plantou aqui na Terra

Certamente vai colher

Pela paz ou pela guerra

Tudo o que merecer

No caminho pela guerra

Encontra muita disciplina

De joelhos sobe a serra

E a viagem muito mal termina

No caminho pela Paz

A verdade brilhando na mente

Resplandece a luz lá no céu

Do Grande Pai Onipotente

I consecrate the Santo Daime

Fount of all knowing

That leads me to the Eternal Father

Owner of all Power

Whoever planted here on Earth

Will surely reap

Through peace or through war

All that they deserve

On the path through war

One finds much discipline

On one’s knees one climbs the mountain

And the journey ends very badly

On the path through Peace

The truth shining in the mind

The light shines there in the heaven

Of the Great Omnipotent Father
