EU TOMEI O SANTO DAIME

Eu tomei o Santo Daime

Já senti estremecer

É a quem eu peço firmeza

Para eu não esmorecer

Aqui nesta floresta

Onde está todo primor

Neste lindo jardim

Aonde encanta o Beija-flor

O Beija-flor voou

Aqui dentro deste salão

Mas poucos foram os que viram

Por que não presta atenção

I took the Santo Daime

I already felt myself tremble

It is to whom I ask firmness

So that I may not falter

Here in this forest

Where all excellence lies

In this lovely garden

Where the Hummingbird enchants

The Hummingbird flew

Here within this hall

But few were those who saw it

Because they pay no attention
