CAMPINA DE ESPINHO

Eu entrei numa viagem

Numa campina de espinhos,

Firmei o meu pensamento

Minha Mãe rogai por mim

Meu Pai Eterno do céu

Tenha de mim compaixão,

Iluminai o meu caminho

Me tirai da solidão

Aí entrei num jardim,

Sai brincando com as flores,

Na frente estava meu Pai

Que Ele é o Rei do amor

De lado estava meu Mestre

Quando comigo falou,

Eu vou contar para os meus irmãos

Tudo quanto se passou

Ele disse para mim

Tem muito que trabalhar,

É de grande a pequeno

Todos precisam rezar

Aqueles que não rezar

Muito irão se arrepender,

O clamor que vem aí

Quem não morrer tem que ver

O mundo vai se balançar

E a terra estremecer

E o mar soltar gemidos,

As estrelas no céu correr

Feliz serão aqueles

Que nesta casa chegar,

Ele tomba mas não cai

Que tem Deus para segurar

I entered into a journey

Into a difficult territory

I firmed my thought

My Mother prayed for me

My Eternal Father in Heaven

Have compassion for me

Illuminate my path

Remove me from isolation

There I entered a garden

I left playing with the flowers

My father led

It is He who is the King of love

At his side was my Master

When He spoke with me

I am going to tell my brothers and my sisters

Everything that happened

He said to me

There is much work to do

The big and the small

All need to pray

Those who don’t pray

Many will repent

The uproar that comes there

He who doesn’t die must see

The world is going to rock

And the Earth will shake

And the sea will moan

The Stars in the sky will run

Those who arrive in this house

Will be happy

Whoever has God to guard him

Will stumble but not fall
