O PRESENTE

O presente recebemos

É prata fina e reluz

É a vida que é viva

É o caminho e nos conduz

O que temos é um presente

É o presente eternamente

O futuro nem chegou

E o passado já se foi

A vida é uma flor

A irmandade um jardim

É o jardim do resplendor

O tudo e o nada até o fim

A vida na matéria

E para casa e tem dor

Vamos firmar e ter certeza

No cantar e no amor

Santo Daime, Santa Bebida

Vamos nos todos tomar

Nesta casa amorosa

Nesta festa primorosa

The present we receive

Is fine silver and it shines

It is the life that is alive

And the way and it leads us

What we have is a present

And the present eternally

The future has not even come

And the past has already gone

Life is a flower

The brotherhood a garden

And the garden of splendor

The all and the nothing until the end

Life in matter

Is for home and has pain

Let us stand firm and be certain

In the singing and in the love

Santo Daime, Holy Drink

Let us all drink

In this loving house

In this exquisite feast
