SUPERAÇÃO

Agradeço pela vida

Agradeço pelo pão

Obrigado meu Deus obrigado

Pelo meu Papai Sebastiao

Dou louvor a tudo que existe

Tenho amor por tudo que vive

No balanço do mar me entrego

Na pureza do ar me elevo

No brilho do Sol dourado

Jesus Cristo, Deus encarnado

A beleza da Lua de prata

Oh, Virgem Mãe Imaculada

A força da superação

Sempre vence todo sofrimento

O caminho da salvação

E as estrelas do firmamento

I give thanks for life

I give thanks for the bread

Thank you my God, thank you

For my Papai Sebastião

I give praise to all that exists

I have love for all that lives

In the swaying of the sea I surrender

In the purity of the air I rise

In the glow of the golden Sun

Jesus Christ, God incarnate

The beauty of the silver Moon

Oh, Virgin Immaculate Mother

The force of overcoming

Always conquers all suffering

The path of salvation

And the stars of the firmament
