Há muito tempo eu aqui venho falando

E não encontro quem queira me escutar

Mas vou falando assim mesmo

Não tenho medo de errar

Esta Voz que Deus me manda

Manda para clarear

É para o Pai, é para o filho, é para o Espírito

Que eu recebo esta ordem de cantar

Em mim tenho o Divino Verbo

O sopro feliz da Criação

Há muito tempo eu ensino

A clarear o coração

And I find no one who wishes to listen to me

But I go on speaking all the same

I have no fear of erring

This Voice that God sends me

He sends to brighten

It is for the Father, for the son, for the Spirit

That I receive this order to sing

In me I have the Divine Word

The happy breath of the Creation

For a long time I have taught

To brighten the heart
