É para todos nós tomar

O Santo Daime é um primor

Para quem sabe apreciar

Não sabendo apreciar

Quase não adianta tomar

Passa por cima de tudo

E nada pode alcançar

Antiguidade não é riqueza

Antiguidade não é saber

De que serve antiguidade

E não saber compreender

A firmeza é muito boa

Sem firmeza não se vai

Se não tiver firmeza

Daqui da Terra não sai

It is for all of us to drink

The Santo Daime is a wonder

For whoever knows how to appreciate it

Not knowing how to appreciate it

It hardly helps to drink it

It passes over everything

And can attain nothing

Seniority is not wealth

Seniority is not knowledge

Of what use is seniority

And not knowing how to understand

Firmness is very good

Without firmness one does not go

If one does not have firmness

From here on Earth one does not leave
