EMPOSSAMENTO

O meu Mestre me entregou

O lugar de Assessor

Sendo a mesma função

Que o nosso irmão ocupou

Vós é quem me entende

Eu não vim me oferecer

Eu sei que Vós tem poder

Pode fazer e desfazer

Tu não veio Te oferecer

Todos têm que entender

Na terra vale quem tem saber

E aqui, quem merecer

My Master gave me

The place of Assessor

Being the same function

That my brother occupied

You are the one who understands me

I did not come to offer myself

I know You have power

You can make and unmake

You did not come to offer yourself

Everyone must understand

On Earth he who has knowledge prevails

And here, he who deserves
