MEU PADRINHO

Eu sigo alegre

Por este caminho

Cantando e bailando

Para o meu Padrinho

Eu sigo os seus passos

Bem devagarinho

Pedindo e rogando

Seus belos ensinos

Estou aprendendo

Aqui bem quietinho

Vou acompanhando

Tudo de mansinho

Eu sou pequenino

Mas posso ensinar

Vôo solto no tempo

Volteio no ar

Eu canto Alegria

Eu canto Amor

Aqui estou chegando

Com meu Beija-flor

Sou um passarinho

Que veio do céu

Trazer a saúde

Para os filhos meus

Eu limpo as tristezas

Te dou alegria

Te mostro as belezas

De Santa Maria

Querido Padrinho

Do meu coração

Quero agradecer

Sua santa benção

I go on joyfully

Along this path

Singing and dancing

For my Padrinho

I follow his steps

Ever so slowly

Asking and pleading

For his beautiful teachings

I am learning

Here very quietly

I keep following along

Everything ever so gently

I am very small

But I can teach

I fly free in time

I wheel about in the air

I sing Joy

I sing Love

Here I am arriving

With my Hummingbird

I am a little bird

Who came from heaven

To bring health

For these children of mine

I cleanse away the sorrows

I give you joy

I show you the beauties

Of Holy Mary

Beloved Padrinho

Of my heart

I want to give thanks

For your holy blessing
