SEXTA-FEIRA SANTA

O meu mestre imperador

Foi quem me deu esta missão

Para eu seguir na linha

Junto com os meus irmãos

Ó meu príncipe imperial

Dono desta existência

De primor e maravilha

Fé firmeza e consciência

Ele ensina a ser feliz

Contente alegre e satisfeito

Rezar e trabalhar

E corrigir nossos defeitos

Na mão esquerda a balança

Na direita a espada

E uma venda nos olhos

Para não distinguir nada

Na sexta feira santa

Jesus foi crucificado

É o cordeiro sacrossanto

Que por nós foi imolado

Mas ele venceu a morte

Triunfou é campeão

O caminho e a verdade

Para nossa salvação

No infinito lá do céu

Vi um pássaro voando

Ele é todo irradiado

E de amarelo vai dourando

No silêncio que reside

Nas profundezas do mar

Com o almirante da rainha

Encantada navegar

My Mestre emperor

Was the one who gave me this mission

For me to follow in the line

Together with my brothers

O my imperial prince

Owner of this existence

Of excellence and wonder

Faith, firmness, and conscience

He teaches us to be happy

Content, joyful, and satisfied

To pray and to work

And to correct our faults

In the left hand the scales

In the right the sword

And a blindfold over the eyes

So as to distinguish nothing

On Holy Friday

Jesus was crucified

He is the sacrosanct lamb

Who for us was sacrificed

But he conquered death

He triumphed, he is champion

The way and the truth

For our salvation

In the infinity there in heaven

I saw a bird flying

He is all radiant

And in yellow he goes gilding

In the silence that resides

In the depths of the sea

With the admiral of the Queen

Enchanted to sail
