NO CARMELO TEM ROSEIRA

No Carmelo tem roseira

Para quem quiser cuidar

Quem plantou foi Teresinha

Vós proteja o nosso lar

Na subida deste monte

É preciso se limpar

E deixar a ilusão

Que é para um dia lá chegar

No dia da minha passagem

Deixei esta indicação

O que vem antes e depois

É só prestar atenção

In Carmel there is a rosebush

For whoever wishes to tend it

It was Teresinha who planted it

May you protect our home

On the ascent of this mountain

One must cleanse oneself

And leave illusion behind

So as one day to arrive there

On the day of my passing

I left this indication

What comes before and after

Just pay attention
