É São Pedro quem nos mostra,

É São Pedro para ensinar

Que Jesus com seus discípulos

Numa barca foi ao mar

E disse a Pedro, lança a rede,

- Mas Meu Jesus, peixe não há

Simão Pedro, lança a rede,

Que Deus dá a quem procurar

Foram colhidos tantos peixes

Que a barca quis naufragar

Chorou Pedro aos seus pés,

Arrependido por duvidar

E Jesus Cristo na paciência,

Pedro, levanta e vais trabalhar,

Que agora com as tuas redes

Muitos homens tu vais pescar
