WAITING FOR THE POWER OF THE LORD

We are waiting

We are waiting

We are waiting for the power of the Lord

To take us to the highest heights

We are waiting for the power of the Lord

To infuse us with His holy light

We are waiting for the power of the Lord

We are waiting

We are waiting

Waiting for Him to come and to bring us home

To enable us to share His voice

We are waiting for the power of the Lord

To empower us to fulfill our choice

We are waiting for the power of the Lord

We are waiting

We are waiting

We are waiting for the power of the Lord

To come and to renew our hearts

We are waiting for the power of the Lord

To stream His light to the farthest parts

We are waiting for the power of the Lord

We are waiting

We are waiting

We are waiting for the power of the Lord

To brighten up our darkest nights

We are waiting for the power of the Lord

To cleanse the Earth, bringing wrong to right

We are waiting for the power of the Lord
