GIVING TO GOD

It is up to me to live

So that I learn what I have to give

To give to all my brothers and sisters

To give to each one of us

It is up to us to shine

To praise, eternally, the Divine

To acknowledge all that’s inside

To be humble and release our pride

Oh, I ask of you my Mother

To protect each of my brothers

To instruct each of us in time

That our darkness goes to God in time

Oh, give us patience and trust

So that we can see what we must

What we must see to purify ourselves

And so God may clean our cells

Our cells which hold ourselves

Open to God to clean themselves

It’s His glorious light which shines

That frees the darkness from our minds

It’s for this that we live

So that we learn how to give

So that we know ourselves

And give to God all that we have
