PASSARADA
FLOCK OF BIRDS
- Valsa · 3/4
O mestre que me ensina
Me mandou aqui
Contar uma história
Para quem quiser ouvir
E eu vou cantando
Junto com os meus irmãos
Afirmo e confirmo tudo é ilusão
Só Deus quem domina toda criação
E Deus é luz suprema
Paz, amor eternamente
Fico admirado com poder da mente
Viva todos seres, viva o onipotente
É uma maravilha
Para quem conhece a mente
Este ensino é para meditar
Ficar bem calado e observar
Tudo passa, tudo passa
Como passa a passarada
E gira o mundo, vão girando todos
Hoje está vivo, amanhã está morto
Voltas e dá voltas
Começa tudo de novo
A vida na terra é muito sofrimento
E começa com o nosso nascimento
Mas não há quem não queira
Renascer aqui na terra
Que longa jornada
Que gente importante
Pobre quer ser rico
Rico quer ser grande
Todos preferem ser gota
Do que ser um oceano
Eu tenho uma chave
Para abrir a porta
Ninguém me acompanha
Ninguém quer ir embora
Passarinho na gaiola
De tristeza cantarola
Estou me preparando para viajar
Só volto se o mestre mandar eu voltar
Ensinar os meus irmãos
Aqueles que me escutar
The Mestre who teaches me
Sent me here
To tell a story
To whoever wishes to hear
And I go on singing
Together with my brothers
I affirm and confirm: all is illusion
Only God rules all creation
And God is supreme light
Peace, love eternally
I am amazed at the power of the mind
Long live all beings, long live the omnipotent
It is a wonder
For whoever knows the mind
This teaching is to meditate upon
To stay quite silent and observe
All passes, all passes
As passes the flock of birds
And the world spins, all go on spinning
Today alive, tomorrow dead
Turns and turns again
It all begins anew
Life on earth is much suffering
And it begins with our birth
But there is no one who does not wish
To be reborn here on earth
What a long journey
What important people
The poor wishes to be rich
The rich wishes to be great
All prefer to be a drop
Rather than to be an ocean
I have a key
To open the door
No one accompanies me
No one wishes to go away
A little bird in the cage
Out of sadness it hums
I am preparing to travel
I return only if the Mestre commands me to return
To teach my brothers
Those who will listen to me
refrain, sung twicerefrain, sung three or more times
Hymn 67 of 81.
