DEUS É A VERDADE

Eu peço ao meu padrinho

A meu senhor São João

Me firma neste caminho

Da Virgem da Conceição

Este é o caminho

Aonde encontrei Jesus

Meus irmãos, minhas irmãs

Todos dentro desta luz

A luz de Jesus Cristo

Que me ensinou a rezar

E saber que tudo passa

Só Deus não pode passar

Que Deus é a verdade

É a vida, é o amor

Vamos cantar com alegria

Para espantar toda dor

I ask my Padrinho

My Lord Saint John

Steady me on this path

Of the Virgin of the Conception

This is the path

Where I found Jesus

My brothers, my sisters

All within this light

The light of Jesus Christ

Who taught me to pray

And to know that all passes

Only God cannot pass away

For God is the truth

He is the life, he is the love

Let us sing with joy

To drive away all pain
