JARDIM DO CRIADOR

Te entrego este presente

Mais uma linda canção

Oh! Luz tão maravilhosa

Eu recebo no coração

Plantei a minha semente

Reguei com o meu amor

Mas vejam o que fizeram

No jardim do criador

Três vezes eu olhei em volta

E não gostei do que vi

Vi tanta coisa errada

Eu não ensinei assim

O mundo está em balanço

E só não vê quem não quer

Eu peço a divina estrela

Aumentai a minha fé

Escreva estas palavras

Estuda com atenção

Te firma nesta verdade

Do meu senhor São João

I give you this gift

One more lovely song

Oh! Light so wondrous

I receive it in my heart

I planted my seed

I watered it with my love

But behold what they did

In the garden of the Creator

Three times I looked around

And I did not like what I saw

I saw so much that was wrong

I did not teach it so

The world is in swaying

And only those who will not, do not see

I ask the divine star

Increase my faith

Write down these words

Study them with attention

Steady yourself in this truth

Of my Lord Saint John
