O VALOR DA HARMONIA

Meu mestre aqui cheguei

Vim para lhe escutar

Tem uns certos ensinamentos

Que só Deus pode nos dar

Tudo que já compreendo

Vem do amor de Jesus

Nem tudo que resplandece

É obra da santa luz

Oh! Senhor eu sempre peço

Que me dê discernimento

De que vale o resplendor

Se falta esclarecimento

Deus me dê força e coragem

Para dizer a verdade

Tem muita gente enganada

Aqui dentro desta irmandade

Isto eu digo é porque sei

Pois estou examinando

Tenho o coração aberto

E meus olhos estão enxergando

Aquele que desconhece

O valor da harmonia

Busca Deus lá nas alturas

Vai viver sem alegria

Quando ver o chegar da hora

Diz Oh! Senhor o que fiz

Tanta graça recebida

Mas nunca que fui feliz

Oh! Jesus que nos ensina

Peço e rogo ao meu senhor

Perdoai as nossas culpas

Cobri-nos com Vosso amor

I came to listen to you

There are certain teachings

That only God can give us

All that I now understand

Comes from the love of Jesus

Not all that shines

Is the work of the holy light

Oh! Lord, I always ask

That You give me discernment

What use is the splendor

If clarity is lacking

May God give me strength and courage

To speak the truth

There are many people deceived

Here within this brotherhood

This I say because I know

For I am examining

My heart is open

And my eyes are seeing

He who does not know

The value of harmony

Seeks God up in the heights

Will live without joy

When he sees the hour arrive

He says Oh! Lord, what have I done

So much grace received

But never was I happy

Oh! Jesus who teaches us

I ask and plead to my Lord

Forgive our faults

Cover us with Your love
