Eu vim de longe para ver de perto

E conhecer como tudo se passou

Vim navegando junto com estrela

Foi a mão de Deus

Que sempre me guiou

Vivo na terra com fé e esperança

Que um dia todos vamos alcançar

A vida eterna é junto com Jesus

Para sempre estar dentro desta luz

Estou alegre muito satisfeito

Eu aqui no mundo vivo a cantar

Louvando a Deus e a Virgem Maria

Para sempre ter amor e harmonia

I came from afar to see up close

And to know how everything came to pass

I came sailing alongside a star

It was the hand of God

That always guided me

I live on earth with faith and hope

That one day we all shall attain

Eternal life together with Jesus

To forever dwell within this light

I am joyful, much contented

Here in the world I live singing

Praising God and the Virgin Mary
